It directs the non-academic aspects of student life at the college level and coordinates with the school community in matters affecting these aspects, pursuant to the mission statement of the College under the following general objectives.
It directs the non-academic aspects of student life at the college level and coordinates with the school community in matters affecting these aspects, pursuant to the mission statement of the College under the following general objectives.
Along these objectives, the Dean of Student Affairs has the following areas of concern:
A. Student Development. This concerns the developmental programs for students, in coordination with the department concerned and the student leaders, to help them realize their potentials and become better citizens, as well as enhance the right school campus atmosphere.
B. Student Activities. This involves the proper coordination and supervision of general student activities essential to the students' balanced formation and development, including the regulation of the operations of all recognized students' organizations. This is in coordination with the school bodies for the adequate utilization of the students' efforts and capacities to help them attain their constitutional rights and to realize the goals of the College.
C. Student Discipline. This includes the right order of things requiring students to follow rules and regulations for external discipline to facilitate the development of desirable attitudes, values and behavior patterns, and to establish the right academic atmosphere and productive living inside and outside the College campus.
D. Student Assistance. This includes College scholarship programs, government scholarships, and other forms of financial assistance.
